Welcome back from Spring Break! We have lots of activities planned for the last quarter of this school year. Book Fair, 5th grade visit to Lakewood Middle School, Kindergarten Roundup, Field Trips, Play Day and Picnic and 5th grade Honor Night. Be sure and watch the calendar and/or your child's book bag so you don't miss any of the upcoming activities!
The Growth Mindset word for March is "ATTITUDE". Attitude is how you respond to someone or something. A positive attitude can make the difference between a pleasant experience or an unpleasant experience.
If you have any questions or concerns I would love to talk to you. Please give Cottonwood a call or send me an email at the link below and I will be happy to help you in any way I can.
Help make the start and end of our day be as efficient as possible by following our arrival and dismissal policies. School starts at 8:30 a.m. for all classes. Stop in the office for a tardy pass after 8:30 a.m. If your child eats breakfast at school, they should arrive no earlier than 7:55 a.m. and should use the South set of doors on Baker Street. If your child does not eat breakfast at school, your child should not arrive before 8:15 a.m. and may use the main entrance on Phillips Street. Please do not send your student early as there will not be any supervision prior to these times. School is dismissed at 3:25 p.m. and students are expected to be picked up by 3:30 p.m. if they do not walk home as there is no supervision for students after 3:35 p.m. Thank you for your help with this issue.
