Griffitts 2019

It is hard to believe we have almost reached the midpoint of this school year.  Our teachers and students have been working very hard to make the first semester a success. Cottonwood Elementary has upcoming holiday music programs. Due to COVID restrictions, the grade levels will perform separately. The 3rd and 4th grade students will have their holiday programs on Monday, December 6. The 3rd Grade at 6:00 p.m. and the 4th grade at 6:45 p.m.  The 1st and 2nd grade students will have their holiday programs on Tuesday, December 7. The 1st grade at 6:00 p.m. and the 2nd grade at 6:45 p.m.  The 5th grade orchestra will have a concert at Central High School, on Thursday, December 9, at 7:00 p.m. We will be requiring masks to attend all concerts.  Our students, Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Modin, work very hard in preparation for their concerts and will be very eager to perform for their parents and friends. This is what makes working at an elementary so great.  Our students are enthusiastic about school, learning and most importantly excited about life and all of the wonderful opportunities the future holds.

Don't forget to play along with our virtual game "Cottonwood's 12 Days of Christmas!".  December 1st starts with the task of drawing or coloring a CANDY CANE in the Day 1 box.  Check this website every weekday during December for a new Christmas item to draw/color.  Everyone who turns in their completed flyer on December 20th will get a prize!!

Have a wonderful holiday season!  Thank you...Mr. Griffitts
