Principal's Message

Thank you for your support and help with your attendance at Parent/Teacher Conferences. Cottonwood was able to With winter and colder weather approaching please help in making sure your child does not arrive too early for school.  The official start of the school day is 8:25. Teachers and paraprofessionals do not report until 7:55 a.m. Students are allowed into the building at 7:55 a.m. Therefore, students should not arrive before 7:55 a.m. at the earliest.  The morning is very busy for staff and myself as we are preparing for the day and have scheduled meetings to attend.  This becomes very difficult when we have too many students arriving early.  Please visit with your children to make sure they are not leaving too early for school.  Preparation is very important for our staff and the morning time is very valuable. Please make the appropriate arrangements for students not to arrive to Cottonwood before 7:55 a.m.  Thank you.
