Cottonwood 1st grade students were fortunate to receive a classroom donation of building blocks. John Will from John Will Construction Company stopped by Cottonwood Tuesday morning with a gift for each of our 3 first grade classes. John is from Halstead, Kansas and has sculpted these blocks by hand from cedar and cottonwood for over 900 classrooms in the state. The students and teachers were thrilled with the donation and can't wait to see what can be made from hundreds of wood pieces.
